Ultra copper for cycle shack slip on?

I'm going to put on the cycle shack slip ons tomorrow, and was curious if I should use some ultra copper seal where the muffler meets the head pipe for a better seal. It was a suggestion someone made on another thread, but seems like it's not necessary, although it will help with sealing the exhaust.

I don't think it's necessary with the clamps and all, but figured I ask :)
