Clutch help...

Trying to get my hardtail 88 on the road. Went to try it today.
One problem, tried popping it in first and it stalls. Tried adjusting the clutch. No dice it's like it's operating mechanically but not disengaging the tranny. I'll pop the primary cover this weekend but need some ideas what getting into. Bike hasn't moved in two years, maybe need to rough the discs up or something.

Need suggestions please.
