I started to remove the battery just now to test it because it recently started showing a red LED warning light on the optimiser. It had been green for "good" last couple of weeks. Know next to nothing about electrics...
Anyway,having watched a few vids on the subject I proceeded to disarm the security system by turning on the ignition first and then removing the main fuse.
I thought this would prevent the alarm goin off - just like in the vids I saw. See link below, 6 mins in
Man, my head is still ringin from that alarm but eventually...eventually, it stopped. Any one know why this thing happened? Where'd I go wrong?
Not goin near it again tonight or my neighbours will go into orbit.
