Seached the forums and tried everything I could but still no spark. Here's the story:
Got the bike serviced before I was gonna do race marshaling around the Island Thanksgiving weekend. Oil change, new plugs. Day one in the rain up to Volcano ran great. Day two stopped for gas and then it died after a mile from the station. Felt like it was running out of fuel, checked the petcock and sure enough a vacuum line came off. Took it to the Harley shop in Kona, they replaced vacuum line. I went to the shop to pick it up...wouldn't start. The mechanic pulled the spark plug wires..no spark. He fiddled with the kill switch and we got it started. he said it might be a corroded kill switch. I rode it home and then started it every morning for 3-4 days then it stopped starting. I checked the kill switch with a test light (that's all I have) and it looks fine power on both sides when its in the on position. Replaced the ignition module. Checked the fuses and unplugged/plugged in all the little modules under the seat to see if there was a bad connection. Test light shows power to the coil (light dims when I crank it over) but nothing coming out to the plug wires. (I only used the test light to check this...not sure if that works?) All the lights are fine, turns over, smell gas getting to the carb, battery checks out at 12.8v (I've pulled it and charged.)
I'm 50 miles from the Harley shop so I'd like to avoid a tow charge (damn you AAA!) Gas here is $4.15 a gal so I need to use the bike instead of the truck at times to save $$
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Joe
