mods for stock 883r 2 into 1?

I'm getting a pretty much bone stock '03 883R in the next couple days. Pretty excited about it, and already looking into slight mods for it. I really dig the stock 2 into 1 exhaust but I'm wondering if any simple modifications are possible to improve flow and maybe tone.
I've seen how people remove or drill out baffles in stock 2 into 2 pipes. Has anyone done anything like that to the 883R 2 into 1?
