Ironhead while i've the primary cover off..

I'm replacing my clutch cable and am waiting for parts. I've got the primary cover off. No parts sitting on bottom and to my novice eye everything looks in great shape.. even like new. Is there anything I should be looking at specifically while i'm in there? I don't expect parts till the end of the week(west coast to east coast trip) so i've got time. Btw, this is an '85 i'm working on. I'm gonna look thru stickys for recommendations for primary fluid but if anyone has a favorite by all means i would love to hear.
