Ive only had this bike for a month now and its definitely come a long ways since I got it but the dam thing still wouldn't run worth a crap. Ive seriously only rode it 3 times and Ive hauled it home in the truck all 3 times. I got my Mikuni in the mail today and got er mounted. It took a little cobbelin but I made myself a throttle cable and am pleased with my quick fab work. I had rebuilt my factory carburetor and Ive rebuilt HUNDREDS of carbs in the past but even after the rebuild it just wouldn't run. It ALWAYS required probably 5 seconds of cranking before it would fire before. Once it popped off it seemed to run good until I would go to actually ride it, Then it would sputter after half throttle and it just wouldn't run out. After installing this carb tonight, I hit the button and WITHOUT turning the motor completely over, it was running. I was truly amazed but yet skeptical as I hadn't rode it yet. Well, I just got home from my 1st ride and I didn't have to call to be picked up in my truck. I haven't made an aircleaner yet and I ran it for about 20 minutes just open carb, but WOW. JUST WOW.....That's all I can say. It probably the best $105 Ive ever spent on getting a bike goin. I still have the New Edelbrock for a nice display piece on my mantle.
