I opened up the front and rear reservoirs to check fluid levels and the fluid is amber color, so not DOT5 which should be purple (unless dot5 loses its color after a long time??).
The brakes work fine right now but this should be fixed before any seals dissolve or something.. The previous owner didnt do much maintenance, so i'm guessing this fluid has been in there for years.
Whats the best way to clean the old fluid out and fill with the purple stuff? I'm guessing everything will have to come apart.
