long story short ive put 3-4000 miles in this year and about 500 miles ago once and a while it would skip a beat and not fire while getting on the throttle. checked the spark plugs air filter the plugs were not to bad filter was oily and dirty (bought the filter and never got to install it another long story) then about a week or two later it came back a LOT worse (of course while i was going to a class for work 70miles away)this time the bike would idle and run at a higher rpm but nothing between, i nursed it to a hd dealer puled the carb (stock cv)apart the guys at the dealership gave me a can on carb clean every thing was clean then i gave up and they worked on it for 3 hours they got it "better" but she is still NO off idle and NO acceleration the accelerator pump works the pilot jet was clear, hd replaced it (with another 45) cant see any holes in the slide diaphragm the slide moves freely new plugs and air filter at hd the float level was adjusted by hd and rechecked by me the VOES had a broken wire i repaired it and it closes at about 5 in my gage sux the VOES might be the next thing i buy the ing coil ohmed out in spec im probably overlooking some thing something stupid simple but hd over looked it too any other ideas would be very helpfull thanks
