I installed a 1999 X1 Lightning motor in my 94 XL and have been enjoying getting it tuned. When I put in the motor I noticed the oil pressure light did not come on so I grounded the wire and the light came on. Today I was changing oil and put on a new switch and it acted the same as the first. I will buy yet another pressure switch and do a continuity on it before installing this time.I would now like to have a oil pressure gauge in addition to or instead of the switch and light. I value the opinion of the forum members and would like to have some direction.
