Hello, I am new to the forum. I have an 03 100th anniversary 883R sportster which is soon to be a 1250. After some google searches about head bolts it has become apparent that a lot of people seem to be having issues with head bolts loosing and blowing head gaskets. With all this cash I am dumping in to this build I really want to do everything I can to avoid this issue. I have more experience in the V8 world than the Vtwin world at this point and know that at least with V8s head studs are far superior to bolts. Does anyone know of any head studs that are available for sportsters? I have searched google up and down and come up dry. I had heard that ARP had some available but have yet to find any. Thanks in advance for any replies.
