Rather than highjacking the other thread, I thought I'd start a new one to capture facts about the little-known Harley KRM and KHRM models.
Here are some ads with specifications that I have found:
An early KHRM (would say 1954). NB oil tank with fittings on either side:

A later KHRM (would say 1955). NB "normal" oil tank:
Here's what I believe to be a modified KRM. I love this bike, and would like to build a replica. NB front fender (at least) is not stock.
Interestingly, a KRM seen on ebay several years ago had an early KR frame with lug (Patrick will remember this bike, and I saved pictures if anyone interested). Don't believe this was standard, however needs confirmation.

And here's the great Joe Leonard n what I believe to be a KRTT (female exhaust spigots, and the fact that it's Joe Leonard...), for comparison:

Note engines are not ball-bearing as some claim, but based on stock K and KH models. Have seen several variations of brake linkage - not sure if some were modified by owner. Side stand seems to be big twin, mounted to front left motor plate.
Anyone with more pics or further info please add!
Edit: does this site not work with Flickr images?
