Rubbermount_EVO Losing too much oil through breather

Hey guys.

Now that my pinging issue has been resolved, I can now focus on the last issue with my bike. The oil consumption issue that only seems to rear it's head when I'm on the freeway. I can cruise around town for 2 hours and will barely lose any oil. Once I hop on the freeway for an hour and I've lost a noticeable chunk of oil when I fill up my gas and check the dipstick (usual ritual at this point). I pop the air cleaner off and there is visual evidence of oil spray from the breather bolts in there.

My close friend planesane on these forums suggested it was the oil pump not scavenging fast enough and suggested upgrading the oil pump to the 07+ Buell oil pump.

After talking with Hammer Performance about the issue, they suggested replacing the umbrella valves.

tl;dr
-Will an upgraded oil pump fix my oil puking problem on the freeway?
-How often should I replace my umbrella valves? My manual doesn't really say and I've heard anywhere from never to every 2 years.
-Are bad umbrella valves a common cause of oil puking?
-How difficult is it to replace umbrella valves?
