Well, I have been a member for about 6 years now, always looking, reading and admiring all the bad ass bikes in here, any ways I finally getting all my parts together and still doing some homework, so this is just a pick as I still waiting for a few things, I have been documenting everything and I have lots of pictures, so when I'm done I would bring this thread back with everything done.
so here is the project the day I pick her up, it had a blown head gasket and I pay $1000.00 for it.

And this is the motor, wish by the way is a 1988 xl 1200. I'm going with a led sled tail, 4 under springer and some other goodies !!!
