BOOKING INFO
The Lodge is holding all of the rooms for us under the XL Forum Group until February 15, 2014
After that they will be made available to the general public.
The person to speak with on the telephone is Randy
The place is closed for the season now, and he is out working on the buildings and grounds so you will probably need to leave a message.
Randy assures me that he will return your calls promptly.
This is not like a motel in that there are various configurations of rooms in cabins and a bunkhouse. Check out the Website for more info
The Ladies may want to get on this if they want a private room
It would probably make sense for a few of you to get together and book a place to split.
Camping is available no deposit will be taken but you must reserve.
Cancellation Policy
When you call you will be asked for your credit card info.
You will then receive a confirmation e mail that you will need to reply to.
Put an X for I Accept and reply back to Randy.
60 days prior to the event (May 11, 2014) the Lodge will take a deposit of one nights stay.
If you cancel prior to the 60 days no worries
If you cancel before 30 days you will be refunded your one night deposit less twenty bucks.
If you cancel with 30 days or less you will lose your one night deposit.
Some more Info
This is in a dry county although the Lodge has no problem us bringing alcohol into the Iron Horse for consumption.
They sell Ice and have coolers.
The Lodge will cook us Breakfast and Dinner. They do not serve food to the general public.
Depending on how many couples vs singles the place can hold 70 people plus camping. There is also an RV park.
The Iron Horse will start and supply wood for a communal campfire every night
We can stay up as long as we want but no excessive noise outside after 11:00 PM
If any of you have questions please post them up in this thread so we can all get the benefit of the answers.
