My current project is a 76 Ironhead with an S&S Super B on it.
The bike won't stay running when fired up. It will only start when choked at least half way. When it does start up, it runs at like a real high idle for about half a minute or so...sometimes more sometimes less...then dies. If you twist the throttle when its running, it will usually kill it or there's a response like its running out of gas. Its like its not responding to throttle input properly. Checked fuel lines, petcock, filter, etc and its getting gas. A friend suggested that it may be an air leak around the intake (?). Just thought I'd post a question here to see what people think it might be before I start tearing things apart.
