Possible Iron 883 mods. (Shocks, Forks)

Now looking at a 2012 Iron 883, having sold my 48 - long story involving a total knee replacement.

So, after the incredible improvement on the 48 (perhaps not difficult) after putting Intiminators and Works Performance springs in the front end and Progressives in the rear, has anyone got 1st hand experience of doing similar mods to a recent 883?
