I joined the forum in Oct. 2011 and have really enjoyed and gotten a plethora of valuable information about all things sportsters. Instead of looking on google, it was xlforum first. I'd just like to personally thank everyone who contributes to the forum and makes it such a great place to read, write, and discuss all things sportster. You truly make this a wonderful place for new and old sportster riders alike.
That being said, I have upgraded to 1250 cc ;)
I bought a 2009 VRSCDX (Night Rod Special) with 958 miles, after my test ride, on the 24th and am enjoying it immensely. Since 4 pm Saturday when I bought it, I put 800 miles on over the weekend. And I bought it pretty local (for Wyoming). I would recommend riding one if you haven't because it is certainly an experience to be had. I love my sportster, and she has treated me extremely well since I bought it. I imagine that I'll be selling it fairly soon, hence the farewell to the sportster title. I will definitely be posting it on the forums here so someone can get a great bike. (I guess if you want info on it, PM me)
And this post wouldn't be worth anything without pictures...so here you are:

I don't have great pictures of the sportster, but here is what I have as she sits now.

In any case, thanks for reading and looking! I'll probably stick around and pop in every now and then.
Thanks,
Travis
