Ironhead Rim/wheel refurb?

I was looking at my rims/wheels that other day and the rear has quite a bit of rust on the outer rim...my hub looks good. Would it be suggested to buy some new spokes and rebuild the wheel? I would like to get a new one but I also like the refurb what I have. I was reading up and building a truing rims.

Any opinions or suggestions here?

BTW, my front is aluminum so it is fine. I was also considering just painting/powder coating the rim but I like the shiny chrome lace wheel look.
